Our South American trip ended with a week in the Galapagos Islands which is considered one of the world’s foremost destinations for wildlife-viewing. Its isolated terrain shelters a diversity of plant and animal species, many found nowhere else and regardless of whether one likes animals, those found in the Galapagos are both interesting and amazing.
